Mission & Vision

Mission

An organizer in every community with the support and training needed to lead advocacy efforts for their own community's health and wellbeing.

Three wooden directional signs with black text against a landscape of hills and a partly cloudy sky. The signs read 'Responsibility,' 'Consumption,' and 'Production,' with arrows pointing left or right.

Vision

The Grass Roots Organizers (gRo) is a comprehensive firm committed to empowering justice-minded individuals and organizations for community-led capacity-building skills, knowledge expansion, and encouragement to drive positive change. Rooted in the principles of community organizing, advocacy, and needs assessment, we provide a solid foundation for participants to become effective advocates and catalysts for social change. Healthy communities and growth-centered political environments require civically engaged citizens to lead the way toward progress. For that reason, the GRO training program is rooted in the belief that empowered, informed, and strategically-minded individuals can play a pivotal role in driving positive change within their communities. Through a combination of theoretical learning, practical exercises, and community engagement, the program seeks to create a cadre of advocates capable of addressing the unique needs and challenges of their respective communities.
